FRDN-AUX Ford Lincoln Mercury auxiliary input adapter 1998 Ford auxiliary input interface for vehicles with tape radio, CD radio, or single CD and tape radios. This interface plugs into the back of the Ford radio using the external CD-changer port and it will allow you to input audio from your Mp3, iPod iPhone, or any portable audio source into the Ford Head unit. If there is a CD-changer in the vehicle it will need to be unplugged, you can also use the CD-changer plug to add an auxiliary interface. There is no need to remove the Ford radio, in that case use the FRDW-AUX The interface is not compatible if the Ford radio comes with a SAT button.
